Operation Sindoor: Satellite images show how India precisely struck terror infrastructure of JeM, LeT in Pakistan

Fresh satellite images revealing the impact of India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ emerged on Thursday, showing how precisely the Indian armed forces targeted terror infrastructure at nine locations in Pakistan. The sites demolished by India included Jaish-e-Mohammad’s headquarters in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base in Muridke.
During the early hours of Wednesday, India conducted precision-based strikes targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan that had already been identified by the Indian security establishment. The strikes were carried out under the codename 'Operation Sindoor' to avenge the deaths of 26 persons in the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack on April 22.
In a statement following the strike, India said, “Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in the selection of targets and method of execution,” the release said.
In a media briefing later in the day, India's foreign secretary Vikram Misri said, "These actions were measured, non-escalatory, proportionate, and responsible. They focused on dismantling the terrorist infrastructure and disabling terrorists likely to be sent across to India. Our intelligence monitoring of Pakistan-based terrorist modules indicated that further attacks against India were impending. There was thus a compulsion both to deter and to pre-empt”.
During the briefing, Indian Army’s Colonel Sophiya Qureshi said the targets were selected based on credible intelligence inputs and the role of these facilities in perpetrating terror activities. "The locations were so selected to avoid damage to civilian infrastructures and loss of any civilian lives," she said. Indian Air Force's Wing Commander Vyomika Singh added that no Pakistani military installations were targeted.
India conducted precision-based strikes on four locations in Pakistan and five in PoK. The JeM targets were Markaz Subhan Allah at Bahawalpur, Sarjal at Tehra Kalan, Markaz Abbas in Kotli and Syedna Bilal camp in Muzaffarabad.
The LeT targets were Markaz Taiba at Murdike, Markaz Ahle Hadith at Barnala and Shwawai Nalla camp at Muzaffarabad, while the Hizbul Mujahideen targets included Makaz Raheel Shahid in Kotli and Mehmoona Joya in Sialkot.
