Attention Punekars! Check Out Ola, Uber, Rapido Cab Fares Per Kilometer For AC And Non-AC In Pune

Just as they are adjusting to the new fare system started by Ola, Uber, and Rapido autos in Pune, even app-based cabs in the city have now started charging fares as per the government-approved rates in Pune.

Meanwhile, the Pune RTO has given cab drivers a fare chart to avoid confrontations with passengers.

App-based cab services such as Ola, Uber, and Rapido operating in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and Baramati started charging fares based on government-approved rates from May 1. The decision was made during a meeting of the Indian Gig Workers Front (IGWF).

The new system has, however, irked Pune commuters, and many have taken to social media to voice their concerns. While some blamed drivers, others said it would affect the affordability and usage of cabs.

The decision also led to confusion among Pune residents, as they sought clarification about the new rule, and it has led to fights and disagreements.

Now, to avoid the disagreements, the RTO has given new rate cards.
