Chhattisgarh’s court orders FIR against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap over derogatory remark against Brahmins

A Chhattisgarh court has ordered police to file a First Information Report (FIR) against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap following a complaint about an alleged derogatory remark against Brahmins made on his Instagram account in April 2025. Advocate Anjinesh Anjay Shukla filed the complaint after his initial attempts to register a case with local police were unsuccessful.
