Yalda also reminded Tarar of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s 2018 decision to suspend military aid to Pakistan, citing its double standards in fighting terrorism. She pointed out that such claims directly contradicted not only Pakistan’s Defense Minister but also past statements by leaders like Pervez Musharraf and Benazir Bhutto.
