PSL 2025 To Move Out Of Pakistan? Here's What PCB Officials Suggested

Pakistan Super League 2025 stands at a risk of moving out of Pakistan, after the officials cancelled tonight's fixture of Peshawar Zalmi vs Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi following a drone attack.

As reported by IANS, the incident has left foreign players in a deep state of shock, and are now considering leaving the country due to security issues. Pakistan Cricket Board has tipped Karachi, Doha and Dubai as the three venues for the remainder of the matches.

List Of Remaining League Stage Matches Of PSL 2025

  • Peshawar Zalmi Vs Lahore Qalandars
  • Islamabad United Vs Karachi Kings
  • Multan Sultans Vs Quetta Gladiators
  • Peshawar Zalmi Vs Karachi Kings

The conclusion of league stage matches will be followed by Qualifier 1, Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2, and the Final. Till now, all the remaining league matches were supposed to be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, alongside the Qualifier 1.

The final three matches of the tournament were scheduled to be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

PSL has been running parallel to IPL this time around, as Pakistan & UAE were the co-hosts of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in February-March (which is usually the time period when PSL takes place).

Peshawar Zalmi star Mitchell Owen, who inspired Hobart Hurricanes to Big Bash League glory recently, has made a switch to the Indian Premier League, after Punjab Kings signed him as a replacement for Glenn Maxwell, who is ruled out of the tournament due to injury.
