India-Pakistan Tensions: All schools, colleges to remain closed in Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch on May 9

In light of the ongoing India-Pakistan tensions, all schools, colleges, and educational institutions—both private and government—in the districts of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, and Poonch will remain closed on May 9, as announced by the Divisional Commissioner of Jammu.

Sharing a post on X(previously Twitter), Divisional Commissioner Jammu wrote, “In view of the prevailing situation all Schools, Colleges & educational institutions (private as well as Government) in the districts of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri and Poonch shall remain closed tomorrow on 9th May as well.”
