China Distances Itself From Claims Of Chinese Jet Used In India-Pakistan Clash

The Chinese foreign ministry on Thursday said that it is not familiar when asked if the Chinese jets were involved in the India-Pakistan conflict after India hit the terror targets in the Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Dar said that it kept Beijing informed about the military action soon after the strikes began, with the China’s Ambassador Jiang Zaidong visiting Pakistan’s Foreign Office at 4 a.m.

On Thursday, China reiterated its call for both India and Pakistan not to escalate the situation. On being asked about the claim of Pakistan on the use of the Chinese made jets, foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said, “I am not familiar with the matter you mentioned.”
