India – Pakistan war: In a major relief, no damage has been reported to Pathankot airbase amid India – Pakistan tensions. On the evening of Thursday (May 8, 2025), multiple loud explosions rocked the Pathankot airbase. Following the explosions, there was a complete blackout in the area. The explosion comes a day ater India conducted strikes on nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Following the incidents in Jammu, explosions were also heard in parts of Punjab, with reports of Pakistani shelling targeting areas in Pathankot and Jammu & Kashmir’s Kupwara and other sectors.
