Delhi Airport has said that its operations are normal and some flights have been affected due to tight security including changing airspace conditions. In view of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has increased security arrangements.
Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), which operates Indira Gandhi International Airport, said in a post on the social media platform ‘X’ that operations at the airport remain normal, while some flights have been affected due to changing airspace conditions and tight security. DIAL said, “Please contact your aviation company for the latest updates. We urge everyone to trust only official sources and avoid sharing unverified information. We are working closely with all stakeholders to minimise any inconvenience.”
Disaster management plans are being made in hospitals like Safdarjung and Ram Manohar Lohia. All department heads have been instructed to submit a 72-hour disaster management plan.
Beds reserved in NCR hospitals: 100 beds have been reserved for emergency in Gautam Buddh Nagar’s JIMS. Security has been increased in Dadri NTPC. Leave of health workers has been postponed in Ghaziabad. Instructions have been given to increase 20% beds in hospitals of Gurugram and Faridabad. Leave of police, health department and fire brigade has been cancelled.
