UGC NET June 2025 registration deadline deferred till May 12; here’s apply link

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the registration deadline for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test June 2025 (UGC NET June 2025). Eligible candidates can apply for the exam on the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in till May 12, 2025. The correction window will open from May 14 to 15, 2025.
“In case any candidate faces difficulty in applying for UGC – NET June 2025, he/she may contact on 011 - 40759000 /011 - 69227700 or e-mail at ugcnet@nta.ac.in For further clarification related to the UGC – NET June 2025, the candidates are advised to visit the official website of NTA: https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in, for the latest updates,” reads the notification.

The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted from June 21 to 30, 2025. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, and other details available in the notification below:

Application Fee
The applicants from General/Unreserved categories are required to pay a fee of Rs 1150, whereas Rs 600 is applicable to Gen-EWS*/ OBC-NCL**. Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Persons with Disability (PwD) and Third gender categories have to pay a fee of Rs 325.
