Nareg Dekermenjian gets surprise honor as NHL top teacher

Nareg Dekermenjian, a fifth-grade teacher and lifelong hockey enthusiast, received the 2025 NHL Future Goals Most Valuable Teacher honor. Having transitioned from a finance career to the classroom, he has employed hockey and his life lessons to motivate students.
