Mumbai: The Mumbai Traffic Police have announced a temporary 'No Parking' zone on a 240-meter stretch of Sadashiv Govind Barve Marg in Kurla, effective from May 13 to August 12, 2025. The restriction applies to the area in front of Anjuman Islam School, a location where illegal parking has caused severe congestion and posed safety hazards for students and commuters alike.

The decision comes as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of approximately 6,000 students enrolled at the school and to ease vehicular movement in the area. The specific section of the road where parking is prohibited runs from Budha Colony Electric Pole No. LJB/002/083 to Royal Junction TBM-S-5 & NBS/M03/23075422.
