India-Pakistan tensions: India and Pakistan have reportedly agreed to a “full and immediate” ceasefire, US President Donald Trump has claimed. “I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire,” Trump was quoted as saying by Reuters.
“After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE. Congratulations to both Countries on using Common Sense and Great Intelligence. Thank you for your attention to this matter!,” Donald Trump wrote on his official Twitter page.
In a tweet Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and foreign Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed the ceasefire. “Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire with immediate effect.
