Suspicious movement noticed near Nagrota Military Station, says Army

An Indian Army trooper sustained minor injuries in an exchange of fire after a suspicious movement was noticed near Nagrota Military Station on Saturday night.

 

A search operation is underway to track down the intruder, said the 16 Corps in a post on X.

 

“On noticing suspicious movement near the perimeter, alert sentry at Nagrota Military Station issued a challenge, leading to a brief exchange of fire with the suspect. Sentry sustained a minor injury. Search operations are underway to track the intruder(s),” it said.
