Shehbaz Sharif thanks China, Turkey in war against India
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his address to nation thanked China and Turkey. His remarks came just an hour after, China again declared its support and said that it stands by Islamabad in upholding its sovereignty, territorial integrity’. The defiant PM in his address said that India has used the Pahalgam incident as an “excuse” to impose an “unjustified war” on Pakistan.
Sharif said Pakistan offered an independent and neutral investigation and exhibited restraint to India’s baseless accusations.
“But in its hubris, India tried to challenge our territorial integrity and sovereignty in vain. Innocent lives, mosques, and civilian populations were targeted through drones and missiles,, and our patience was tested.
At a time when Pakistan has violated the ceasefire, PM Shehbaz has said that the armed forces have given a “professional and effective response” to the enemy’s recent aggression in the past few days.
“What the enemy did was a cowardly and shameful act. It was open aggression.” Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the nation after the recent ceasefire.
“You have made it clear to the world that Pakistan is a self-respecting nation. Our respect and valour are more dear to us than our lives. If anyone challenges them, we become an iron fortified wall to protect our land.”
