Ministers visit villages in border area

Punjab Cabinet Ministers Laljit Singh Bhullar and Harbhajan Singh ETO visited three villages situated near the Indo-Pak border on Saturday and assured the people that the government would stand by them at the time of need and that there was nothing to get unduly worried about.

The ministers visited Dall, Van Tara Singh and Thathi Jaimal Singh villages which are situated near the border. They met the people and listened to their problems. They also visited the bazaars in the border township of Khemkaran and interacted with the shopkeepers besides the common man. The ministers boosted the morale of the people and said that the government would provide all assistance to the people. The ministers said that the Bhagwant Mann government in Punjab is providing all facilities to the Army troops. They advised the people not to panic as the Indian Army was well equipped and the offensive by Pakistan was being neutralised immediately.

The ministers advised the people not to go near the site of damaged drones or missiles and instead inform security forces like the police and Army.

Both Bhullar and ETO were accompanied by Sarwan Singh Dhunn, MLA from Khemkaran, Jasbir Singh Sursing, Director (Administration), Powercom and other leaders of the ruling AAP.
