According to World Pranic Healing Foundation (WPHF), the festival of Wesak or Vaishakh is one of the most significant spiritual events of the esoteric calendar around the world. It commemorates the birth, enlightenment and passing of Lord Buddha commemorating a glorious moment of fusion of divinity with humanity on a spiritual path. This occasion is considered sacred as it is when the spiritual force is said to be at its most abundant on Earth, thus enabling practitioners to engage in deep inner process, group meditation, and planetary service.
The festival marks the bridge, symbolically and energetically, between the spiritual hierarchy and humanity, providing a rare moment for healing and upliftment, receive and radiate divine blessings to be expended.
Rooted in the teachings of Buddhism and many esoteric schools, the outreach program will concentrate on ‘Meditation of Twin Hearts’, which is utilized to bestow caring, compassion and harmony onto the planet. Through collective meditation, individuals can help intensify the outpouring of spiritual energy around the world.
Sumi Lazar, trustee of World Pranic Healing India, said, “The Wesak Full Moon represents a period of great opportunity as there is increased spiritual energy in the world. As Pranic Healers and as citizens of humanity, we use this energy to bless the world with peace, love and harmony. During this time, we practice the Twin Hearts meditation, experience transformation and help distribute these energies to all, uplifting the collective consciousness of the world.”
Sriram Rajgopal, director of World Pranic Healing India, said, “This sacred occasion amplifies everything within grasp that would help strengthen our relationship with the divine and allows us to unite towards pursuing a higher aim concentrated on radiating healing energy to the world. With meditation, we positively take part in changing a certain level of consciousness within the globe and in return, facilitate balance and peace on the earth.”
WPHF was founded in January 1999, by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui. The humble initiative started with just one table and six employees, and has now become a global movement with thousands of practitioners, trainers, and centers dedicated to Pranic Healing.
