BJP reviews situation, urges cadre to stay proactive

JAMMU, May 11: Sat Sharma, president, J&K BJP along with Ashok Koul, general secretary (Org), chaired a meeting at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
The meeting focused on the review of the present situation in the Jammu & Kashmir region and the role of BJP cadre.
Veenu Khanna, secretary, J&K BJP, Baldev Singh Billawaria, former Dy Mayor, Arun Dev Singh, president, BJYM, Nand Kishore Sharma, district president, senior leaders Narain Singh, Munish Khajuria, Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, Ved Sharma, Parduman Singh, Puneet Mahajan, Rekha Mahajan, Neha Mahajan, Reema Padha, Brijesh Gupta, and others attended the meeting.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, focused on the ever-ready and pro-active approach to be adopted by the BJP cadre as a whole. He said that the region along with all the border states of India has witnessed continuous irresponsible aggression by Pakistan. He said that after suffering severe blow in the retaliation by the Indian forces, Pakistan requested for a ceasefire but soon violated the trust factor.
Sat Sharma said that in wake of these recent activities, although the ceasefire is in effect, the party has decided to keep going with the preparations to assist the public and the administration in a pro-active mode.
“Under the strong and decisive leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, India will vouch for the peace, and work for its preponderance in the world, but never on the cost of its pride and lives of innocent citizens,” said Sharma.
He gave a go ahead to the party cadre to help the needy, the displaced, those who are injured, the sick and all those who have suffered any type of damages in Pakistan’s misadventure.
“A BJP activist will not rest until they are satisfied that the nation and society have been truly served”, said Sharma.
Ashok Koul, prompted all the party leaders to work in unison with the people and the administration and also work to counter the misinformation campaigns that are being promoted in the media, and social media by the adversaries. He asked the party leaders to keep their preparations on the full-on mode, not taking rest, till complete normalcy is announced by the Government.
