Global Nurse Force, TNAI ink MoU to boost career of Indian nurses
Ahead of International Nurses Day, Global Nurse Force, an international nursing recruitment firm, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI) to provide Indian nurses with ethical, zero-cost global career opportunities.
The agreement was signed in New Delhi on Saturday in the presence of senior officials from both organisations, including Global Nurse Force’s chief business officer, Paramananda Santra, TNAI national president Annie Kumar and secretary-general Evelyn P Kannan.
Santra described the partnership as a significant milestone for Indian nurses, stating, “This collaboration with TNAI is a pivotal moment in the global journey of Indian nursing professionals. Our shared objective is to ensure they are recognised and rewarded globally, without any financial burden.”
Founded in 1908, TNAI is India’s oldest and largest nursing organisation, representing over 600,000 nurses nationwide. Global Nurse Force, which has assisted more than 30,000 Indian nurses in securing overseas placements since its inception in 2003, operates in India, the UK and the US. Known for its transparent, zero-cost recruitment model, the organisation is committed to ethical practices.
Under the terms of the MoU, both organisations would collaborate on a range of initiatives, including credentialing, licensing support, international training programmes, and professional development opportunities. The partnership would also focus on alumni engagement for nurses already working abroad, all while adhering to WHO-compliant ethical recruitment standards.
This collaboration is set to provide Indian nurses with a seamless and financially viable pathway to pursue global careers, furthering their professional growth and recognition.
