Road to development: Rs 34 cr push sought for upgrade in Naraingarh
BJP leader and former MLA Dr Pawan Saini has urged Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to approve the renovation and strengthening of 30 roads in the Naraingarh Assembly constituency. The proposed upgrade would require a budget of Rs 34 crore.
Dr Saini, who contested the last Assembly election from Naraingarh, said the demand includes both rural and urban roads. “A budget of Rs 34 crore is needed for the improvement of 30 roads across the constituency. The moment approval is granted, work will commence,” he said.
During his meeting with the CM, Dr Saini also raised other development concerns. These include the establishment of a polytechnic institute in Naraingarh to provide better access to technical education for local youth, expansion of public transport services and the construction of sports grounds and gymnasiums in villages to promote fitness and sports culture.
“The CM, who has previously represented Naraingarh, is familiar with the region’s challenges. He assured that all development demands will be met in a time-bound manner and confirmed that there is no shortage of funds for public welfare projects,” said Dr Saini. Meanwhile, former Ambala City MLA Aseem Goel announced that over Rs 46.40 crore has been sanctioned for the renovation and strengthening of 53 roads in the Ambala City Assembly constituency.
Goel praised the CM’s commitment to balanced development across all 90 constituencies of Haryana. “The demand for road upgrades in Ambala City was quickly approved. These improvements will not only enhance infrastructure but also elevate the city’s overall appeal and convenience for residents,” he said.
