Co-working space facility will be available at the station

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has started a co-working space (where people from different companies work at one place) at Ghaziabad’s Namo Bharat station. NCRTC CPRO Puneet Vats said that this arrangement is useful for those who work under remote system or who do not have a fixed office.

According to news agency Bhasha, currently Namo Bharat train services operate in an area of 55 km, connecting New Ashok Nagar to Meerut South through 11 stations. The work of the entire 82 km corridor is expected to be completed this year.

Let us tell you that, NCRTC has started the trial run of ‘Namo Bharat’ train on the last part of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor. This train reached Modipuram on May 1. According to an official statement, during this time ‘Namo Bharat’ train was run between Shatabdi Nagar and Modipuram. For the first time, the train passed through the underground section of Meerut, which is a significant step towards connecting the central areas of Delhi to Meerut with high-speed rail connectivity.

So far, the trial was limited to only two stretches located on both sides of the currently operational section. From New Ashok Nagar to Sarai Kale Khan on one side and from Meerut South to Shatabdi Nagar on the other. With this trial, for the first time, ‘NaMo Bharat’ trains are running on the entire Delhi-Meerut corridor.

According to the statement, ‘high-speed trials’ will be conducted at a speed of 180 kmph in the coming days.

According to NCRTC, Meerut Central (near Football Chowk) is the first underground station on this section, followed by Bhaisali and Begumpul. Of these, only Begumpul station will be for both ‘NaMo Bharat’ and Meerut Metro, while the remaining two will be metro stops only.
