India-Pak DGMO talks follow massive retaliation; 400 drones downed, airbases destroyed

Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated in recent days, leading to intense cross-border military engagements. After multiple drone attacks by Pakistan targeting 15 Indian military posts, India responded with a massive counter-operation. The Indian Army successfully neutralized over 400 Pakistani drones and launched precise strikes on key Pakistani airbases and terror camps from Jammu to Jasalm. These retaliatory actions caused significant structural damage and reportedly forced Pakistan’s military into a defensive position. Amidst the ongoing conflict, a crucial DGMO-level dialogue is scheduled today at 12 PM between India’s Lt. General Rajeev Ghai and Pakistan’s Major General Kashif Abdullah via the military hotline. The focus of this communication will be on maintaining the recently established ceasefire and exploring long-term mechanisms to ensure peace along the Line of Control. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reaffirmed India’s zero-tolerance stance against terrorism, declaring that not even borderlands would be safe for those aiding terror. The Indian Army’s swift and calculated response has been hailed as a display of strength and strategic clarity, reinforcing national security. These events underscore India’s readiness to act decisively against aggression while remaining open to diplomatic resolution through military-to-military dialogue.
