David Fincher-directed premiere episode of Netflix's 'Love, Death & Robots' Season 4 out on May 15

Netflix is back with a fourth season of Love, Death & Robots, the acclaimed anthology of animated shorts conjured up by some of the biggest creative minds in the entertainment industry. As before, the new season will traverse various genres, ranging from horror to sci-fi to fantasy. The new season comprises 10 shorts.
Creator Tim Miller returns in the new season alongside executive producer David Fincher. The latter has directed the premiere episode titled "Can't Stop".
Fincher directed his first animation short "Bad Traveling" in Season 3, scripted by Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en, The Killer). His last live-action feature was The Killer, starring Michael Fassbender, for Netflix.
Fincher's episode in Season 4 is described as a "unique take on the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ legendary 2003 performance at Slane Castle, Ireland, with band members Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith, and John Frusciante recreated as string puppets."
In a statement to Netflix, Fincher, who began his career as a director of music videos and commercials in the 1980s and '90s, said: “Our hope is that people begin to understand that this is a boundary-less sandbox. You know, we want to be able to play. We just want to be able to surprise people and show them stuff that hopefully scares them, or gives them the giggles: eye candy worth 11 minutes or six minutes of their time.”
Miller said, “One of my biggest joys in making LDR — and I think David shares this feeling — is when artists or directors make choices you would never make. Their ideas, shot choices, angles, sense of timing — whatever — is something foreign to your visual language but also awesome!”
