Gwalior Cop Caught On Camera Taking Bribe From Tractor Driver, Suspended After Video Goes Viral
Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A cop in Gwalior has been suspended after a video went viral showing him taking money from a tractor-trolley driver on Monday.
The incident took place in the Madhoganj area early in the morning and was secretly recorded on a mobile phone.

In the video, the cop arrives on a Bullet motorcycle and signals a tractor-trolley to stop. The driver parks the vehicle a short distance away, walks to the cop, and quietly hands him some cash. The cop takes the money, puts it in his pocket, looks around, and then leaves.
The video was secretly recorded by a person who was hiding nearby and witnessed the entire incident.
The policeman involved in the incident has been identified as Constable Jagdish Jat, who was stationed at the Madhoganj police station. Following the viral video and the public backlash, SSP Gwalior acted swiftly and issued an order for his suspension.
Prashant Sharma, the Station In-Charge of Madhoganj Police Station, confirmed that the video had been brought to their attention.
He further stated that an internal investigation has already been initiated to look into the matter and determine the appropriate action based on the findings.
