Viral Video Shows Shahid Afridi Leading Rally In Karachi Celebrating Pakistan's 'Victory' Over India In Military Standoff
Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi was seen leading a rally in Karachi as it claimed to have been in favour of their victory against India in the military stand-off. In the video surfaced on social media, the 47-year-old was seen travelling in a car and the ones behind him were seen waving the Pakistani flag.
The conflict at the border began on May 7 when the Indian government launched Operation Sindoor in retaliation to Pakistan's militant groups allegedly killing 26 civilians or tourists in Pahalgam. Both countries announced a ceasefire on Saturday (May 10) but Islamabad had violated it hours after they agreed to it.

Moreover, a few Pakistani media reports had claimed that an Indian pilot had been captured but it was later debunked. Additionally, Pakistan had admitted a damage to one of its Air crafts and a Pakistani Air Force Pilot had been killed. Lastly, India targeted six targeted six Pakistani airbases, including Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur and Chunian. Among those Rahim Yar Khan became non-operational.
