Final trailer of Brad Pitt's F1 movie released ahead of much-awaited June 27 release

Formula 1, Warner Bros and Apple TV+ have released the final trailer of the much-awaited F1, starring Brad Pitt. It is all set to release on June 25 and June 27 in the US. Directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer along with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, the movie follows Brad Pitt’s character Sonny Hayes, an experienced racer returning to the APX Grand Prix.

The film was shot in a span of two years in different race locations. Pitt stars alongside Damson Idris who plays Joshua Pearce, Sonny’s young teammate and a rookie. The trailer that runs for 2 minutes and 30 seconds shows the conflict between the teammates during the race season.

Pitt and Pearce were immersed in their roles during the filming process and to achieve a measure of authenticity, the actors joined the actual F1 grid on the formation lap ahead of the 2023 race at Silverstone.

The trailer shows Pitt and Pearce standing alongside four-time world champion Max Verstappen for the pre-race anthem. Pitt had also filmed in the grid during the 2024 season, in addition to a scene of an exchange between Fernando Alonso and Pitt. The trailer also features different circuits like Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, Silverstone and Monza.

We also get a glimpse of the movie’s action-packed sequences and extreme rivalries. Although the trailer does not reveal the whole plot, it's evident the film explores themes like sacrifice, obsession and its consequences. With star-studded performances, action sequences and behind-the-scenes of Formula 1, this movie is shaping up to be a must-watch for sports and motor enthusiasts.

As the release date approaches, film buffs eagerly await a rollercoaster ride at the cinemas.
