'Enemies Hear Bharat Mata Ki Jai When Our Missiles Strike': PM Modi Addresses Soldiers At Adampur Airbase
Adampur: In a rousing address to Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel at Punjab’s Adampur airbase, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, May 13, delivered a sharp message to Pakistan, saying the enemy now understands the true force behind the chant of "Bharat Mata ki Jai" when India’s drones and missiles hit their mark.
“Rattled by Operation Sindoor, the enemy attempted to attack this air base and several others repeatedly. They targeted us again and again, but the nefarious designs of Pakistan failed each time," PM Modi said.
Have a look at his statement here:
The Adampur airbase was at the frontline of India’s defensive and retaliatory operations last week, successfully neutralising multiple Pakistani drone and missile threats in a 100-hour-long escalation between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.
Praising the precision of Indian strikes during Operation Sindoor, PM Modia said, “I can proudly say that all of you reached your targets with perfection. In Pakistan, it was not just the terrorist camps and air bases that were destroyed, but also their audacity.”
His visit comes amid heightened tensions with Pakistan following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and India’s subsequent counteroffensive Operation Sindoor, targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
“The enemies now hear 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' not from slogans, but when our missiles and drones hit their targets,” Modi said, reinforcing his government’s no-tolerance approach to cross-border terrorism.
