F-TAM Thane Telugu Community Celebrates International Mother’s Day with Literary Tribute

The F-TAM (Federation of Telugu Associations of Maharashtra) Thane Telugu Community celebrated International Mother’s Day on Sunday, 11th May 2025, at its Thane office. The event was held under the leadership of Ganji Jaganbabu, President, and Kante Ashok, General Secretary of F-TAM.

Renowned and award-winning writer and poet from Hyderabad, Dr. Bandaru Sujatha Shekhar garu, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She captivated the audience with her heartfelt literary works and spoke eloquently about the invaluable role of mothers in our lives. Dr. Shekhar also recited several Bathukamma and other traditional festival songs, adding a cultural and emotional touch to the celebration.

The program featured poetic recitations from several esteemed members of the community including Ganduri Laxminarayana, Vadigoppula Shankar, and Boddu Shanker, who shared their original compositions dedicated to mothers.

Attendees such as Raghava Rao, Anji Reddy, Chandu Surpaneni, NRG Rao, Nemaluri Sandhya, Ganduri Srinivas, Rahul Koli, and others reflected on the profound impact their mothers had on their lives, making the event a heartfelt tribute to motherhood.
