Pakistan will not get any sleep for a long time, says PM Modi at Adampur airbase

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday saluted Indian Armed Forces, BSF and paramilitary for conducting an “exceptional, unimaginable and majestic" Operation Sindoor, which achieved its goals of hitting Pakistan-based terror hubs and said action against the neighbour had only been paused with any future terror activity to be met with decisive force on India’s India terms and chosen time.

Addressing soldiers from the grounds of Indian Air Force’s Adampur base, which the Pakistan military claimed to have destroyed in the recent conflict, Prime Minister said Pakistan can never face India’s high tech defence capabilities and Indian forces had punctured its nuclear bubble.
Repeatedly chanting “Bharat Mata ki Jai slogans" with the personnel at the Adampur base that he visited early Tuesday morning, the Prime Minister lauded Forces for an “exceptionally well-coordinated campaign that razed nine terror camps in Pakistan to the ground and killed over 100 terrorists."
The Prime Minister especially hailed the Indian military for “puncturing Pakistan’s nuclear blackmail bubble" and said India’s Lakshman rekha on terrorism was now absolutely clear."

He shared the three pronged national policy on terrorism — India’s new normal — saying, “India will answer terror attacks in its own way, its own terms, its own time; nuclear blackmail will not be tolerated; India won’t differentiate between terror patronising govts and terror perpetrators."

Standing with the S-400 surface to air missile defence system in the backdrop, Modi said the world too was now moving ahead with India’s new policy on terrorism in mind. Pakistan recently claimed it had destroyed the Russian made defence infra.

While profusely thanking the Forces for their valour and for enhancing national self-esteem, the PM said Operation Sindoor had only been paused and not stopped.

“If Pakistan indulges in any terror activity or military misadventure, we will give a befitting reply on our terms, our way. The basis of this new normal is your patience, valour and precision," PM said to soldiers asking them to keep their spirits high, remain vigilant and ready.

“We have to keep reminding the enemy this is new Bharat. This Bharat wants peace but if humanity is attacked, it knows how to raze the enemy to the ground," was his message.

As he boosted the morale of the Forces, Modi said India was a land of Buddha and Guru Gobind Singh both. Describing Punjab (where Adampur base is located) as the land of the brave, PM invoked the verse of the tenth Sikh Guru, “Sava lakh se ek ladaun, chidiyan te main baaj tadaun, tabe Gobind Singh naam kahaun" and PM said, “Wielding weapons to restore Dharma is our culture."
“When sindoor was wiped off the foreheads of our sisters and mothers, we crushed the fangs of the enemy by entering his own house. The enemy hid like cowards but forgot it was facing the Indian Forces," said the PM to frequent applause by the forces.
He said the soldiers had proved to the adversary that there was only one consequence of perpetrating terror in India and that is destruction and extreme destruction.
In another major message to the military, the PM stressed the successes of their coordinated strategies during Operation Sindoor and termed it an exceptional example of “jointness.’
He said every second of Op Sindoor testified to the capacity of the Indian military.
“The coordination of our forces was extraordinary. The Navy dominated the seas; the Army guarded the borders; the IAF attacked and defended; BSF and others displayed exceptional capacities. Our integrated air and land combat system has done exceptionally well. This is joint ness. This is now a strong identity of the Indian military," said the PM lauding the Forces for combining modern weapon systems like S-400 air defence missiles and traditional warfare with precision.
“Manpower-machine coordination in Op Sindoor has been exceptional. You have combined tech with tactics and shown the world you are on top of the game," he said, underscoring the strengths of the Indian military, which deployed both made in India and hi-tech Russian equipment against Pakistan.
The PM said despite Pakistan’s best and repeated efforts to target Indian military installations, it could not even touch national defence infrastructure.
“The credit goes to you all, to every soldier. Pakistan can never face our cutting edge tech," he said stressing a decade of investment in ensuring top global tech reached Indian forces.
