This is expected to cause rain in Delhi, while many states including Assam, Meghalaya and parts of the Western Ghats may witness strong winds and thunderstorms. The IMD has predicted heavy rains at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, while extremely heavy rains are likely in some areas. Similarly, heavy rains are also expected in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
