'Shameful, Spare The Voiceless Innocents': Rupali Ganguly SLAMS News Portal For Claiming She Was Bitten By Dog On Anupamaa Sets (VIDEO)

Television actress Rupali Ganguly lashed out a news portal, India Forums, who earlier today falsely claimed that she was bitten by a dog on the sets of her popular serial Anupamaa. Rupali did not hold back and lashed out at the reports, calling them 'shameful' and urging the portal to verify their news before targeting the 'voiceless innocents' who can't even defend themselves against such news. On Wednesday, Rupali took to her Instagram handle and shared a video in which she appeared visibly angry.

Pointing the camera toward the dogs on set, she said, "Yeh saare mere bacche hain. This is called irresponsible journalism. It was printed that I was bitten by a dog on the Anupamaa sets. It is the most bullshit news I've ever heard. Seriously! Aaj tak mere baare mein kaafi kuch likha gaya hai, maine uspe respond nahi kiya, kyunki mujhe yeh cheezein bother nahi karti. Main kaam mein rehti hoon aur apna kaam achhe se karungi, aur jo log mere baare mein jo likhna chahte hain, likhe."

Rupali stated that most things are written without verification and added that the news portal don't even have the courtesy to ask before publishing. She urged them to at least spare the voiceless animals, who cannot defend themselves or take a stand. She also mentioned that there are monkeys on the sets whom she personally feeds, calling all the animals their 'set babies,' and revealing how no animal would bite unless provoked.

Rupali shared that she suddenly began receiving messages from people concerned about her after the false news of her being bitten by a dog was reported. She clarified that the dogs on set are her fur babies and talked about her deep bond with them. "Insaan ko toh aap bakshte nahi ho, kum se kum janwar ko baksh do. Spare the voiceless innocents. It’s ridiculous," she added.

Rupali called the report 'shameful' and urged the news portal to focus on more meaningful stories—such as the positive developments in India, the commendable work being done by armed forces amid India-Pakistan tensions, and the way our Prime Minister has led the country to greater heights.
