UP: Family Blocks Police Car After Missing Teen's Recovery In Mathura, Alleges Forced Takeaway (VIDEO)

In a dramatic turn of events, police rescued a teenage girl from Bulandshahr who had been missing for 20 days from the Jamunapar police station area in Mathura. The girl was brought to court to record her statement.

Tension erupted when family members intercepted the police vehicle near a petrol pump outside the courthouse as Sub-Inspector Narendra Singh was transporting the girl to a women's shelter following her court appearance.

According to reports, the girl's family members accused the officer of taking Rs 2 lakh and attempted to forcibly remove the girl from the vehicle.

According to reports, the teenager refused to go with her family members. During the confrontation, which lasted nearly an hour, the girl's mother fell to the ground and was injured while trying to pull her daughter from the car. The Sub-Inspector eventually managed to drive away from the scene.

The entire incident was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media platforms.

Police officials stated that the girl underwent a medical examination and her statement was recorded in court. The family has alleged that police are not allowing them to meet the girl and are colluding with the accused.

City Circle Officer Bhushan Verma confirmed that a case has been registered at Sadar Bazaar police station against three named individuals and three to four unknown persons for obstructing government work and misbehaving with the Sub-Inspector when they attempted to forcibly take the girl.

The Congress Party has reacted to the incident. Sharing the video on X, the state unit of the Congress party stated, "In Mathura, a Sub-Inspector brought a young woman to court to record her statement. As soon as they reached outside the court, some strongmen began misbehaving with the officer and tried to forcibly pull the young woman from the vehicle. This incident shows that these strongmen have no fear of law and order, and how could they when the ruling power itself is their patron!"
