Navi Mumbai News: Panchayatan Mandir At Nadhalwadi Marks Third Anniversary With Devotion, Dindi Procession And Bhajans
The Panchayatan Mandir at Nadhalwadi, established under the vision of former Panvel Mayor J.M. Mhatre through the J.M. Mhatre Charitable Trust, celebrated its third anniversary with great religious fervor and devotion. The temple complex, inaugurated on May 13, 2022, has since become a spiritual hub for thousands of devotees in the region.
The grand temple complex features five beautifully constructed shrines dedicated to Mayureshwar Ganesh, Sankatmochan Hanuman, Saibaba, Bhavani Mata, and Nadhaaleshwar Mahadev. The spiritual center was envisioned as a space for devotion, community service, and cultural upliftment.

The event was graced by several prominent leaders and dignitaries including Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Annasaheb Bansode, former MP Ramsheth Thakur, MP Dhairyasheel Patil, MLA Prashant Thakur, Panvel Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Kashinath Patil, Agricultural Committee Chairman Narayan Sheth Gharat, BJP Raigad District President Avinash Koli, senior BJP leader Nandkumar Patwardhan, Khalapur Municipal Chairperson Shivani Jangam, PWP Taluka Secretary Santosh Jangam, along with several corporators and local devotees.
Highlighting the temple’s broader mission, Pritam Janardan Mhatre, President of the J.M. Mhatre Charitable Trust, shared details about the charitable services offered from the temple premises.
“Free lodging is provided to devotees participating in the Dindi procession. Affordable accommodations are also available for visiting pilgrims. Through the Trust, we offer free tea and drinking water to all visitors. A community hall is made available for religious and spiritual programs like bhajans and kirtans," said a spokesperson from JM Mhatre charitable trust. "This temple complex is not just a place of worship but also a center for social upliftment,” he further added.
