Ex-Premier League assistant referee jailed for 9 years for raping a man in 2009

Former Premier League assistant referee Steven Wilson, 55, has been jailed for nine years for raping a man in 2009. He lured the victim to his flat under false pretences, locked him in, and assaulted him. The case resurfaced in 2021 when the victim recognised Wilson from reports of his prior convictions involving minors and reported him.
