Zepto Enters Consumer Insights Space With Launch Of ‘Zepto Atom’; Here's What It Offers
Quick commerce startup Zepto is making its foray into the consumer analytics space with the launch of a new subscription-based service, Zepto Atom, set to go live on Friday, May 16. The new platform is designed to offer real-time, data-rich insights to brands listed on Zepto. It will include features such as live market trends, consumer behavior tracking, repeat purchase analysis, retention data, and predictive analytics. Zepto Atom will operate independently through its website and mobile application.
One of the platform’s key capabilities is its hyperlocal analysis, offering granular, pin code-level data on market share. Brands will also be able to track sales activity by the minute, monitor customer impressions and conversion rates, and gain full visibility into customer journeys, from product discovery to purchase, as per Zepto.
Zepto GPT
Zepto Atom is also equipped with a proprietary AI assistant called Zepto GPT, developed using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and trained on internal datasets. According to the company, this tool can deliver strategic insights, respond to brand-specific queries, and even generate detailed performance reports.
With this launch, Zepto aims to challenge the Rs 1,000 crore Indian consumer analytics industry, currently led by long-established multinational firms such as Nielsen and Kantar. The company claims its in-house technology can provide comparable insights at a more affordable rate.

AI-Generate Consumer Personas
“Zepto Atom is a serious attempt by our category and tech teams to build a disruptive new product in the consumer analytics industry in India. We believe we can harness the millions of data points Zepto generates every day to give brands customised and real-time insights on their products at a much more competitive price point than they are currently incurring,” said Aadit Palicha, co-founder and CEO of Zepto.
Palicha also revealed plans to continue investing in the platform over the coming year, with upcoming features expected to include AI-generated customer personas and automated survey tools for targeted user groups.
