Furious Bride Seen Spitting On Groom's Hand; Viral Video Stirs Outrage
A video of a dramatic scene from a wedding ceremony, showing inappropriate behaviour by the bride, has been making the rounds on social media. In the 10-second viral clip, as soon as the man dressed as the groom extended his hand to hold the bride's during the garland ceremony, the bride spat on his hand.
It is unclear whether the video is real or scripted, and the location where it was recorded remains unknown.
However, the caption in the video mentions that the incident took place on May 12. Many social media users suspect that the incident could have been staged for online attention, as has been seen in similar cases.
Although the authenticity of the video remains uncertain, the girl’s behaviour toward the boy has stirred outrage among netizens.
Reacting sharply to the viral video, one user said, "yeh badtamizi ki hadd hai... Dulhe ko manch se chale jana chahiye tha (This is the height of indecency... the groom should have walked off the stage)."
Advising the boy not to marry the rude girl, another user commented, "Agar ladki mafi bhi mange ya maan bhi jaye, phir bhi shadi nahi karni chahiye (Even if the girl's family apologises or the girl agrees later, the marriage should still not happen)".
Assuming the girl might have been forced into the marriage, a third user wrote, "Ho sakta hai ye shadi jabardasti ho rahi ho, ladki ki marzi ke khilaph ya uski napasand se... ya phir ladka achha kamane wala na ho, ya sarkari naukari wala na ho (It’s possible that the marriage is being forced, against the girl's will or preference... or maybe the groom doesn't earn well or doesn't have a government job)."
