Kerala CPM veteran G Sudhakaran admits to rigging 1989 Lok Sabha election

G Sudhakaran, a senior CPM leader, is under scrutiny. A video surfaced showing him discussing alleged manipulation of postal ballots during the 1989 Alappuzha Lok Sabha polls. He initially seemed to admit to the tampering. Later, he denied the claims. Election officials are taking his statement seriously. They have initiated a probe into the matter.
