Pakistan’s Asim Munir wanted to fulfill Osama Bin Laden’s dreams in Pahalgam attack? Understand the chronology
The Pahalgam terror attack shook the world. As many as 26 tourists were killed in cold blood by terrorists, worse was they were asked religion before being murdered in front of their families. Then came India’s response. India had clearly stated that the terrorists responsible for the attack and their masters would be wiped out. The Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor in May and destroyed 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and killed over 100 terrorists. India destroyed 11 airbases of Pakistan too.
However, what has caught the maximum attention is a statement by General Asim Munir which is being linked to the notorious Al Qaeda terrorist Osama bin Laden.
To understand this further one has to understand the chronology:
The connection and chronology between the statements of General Asim Munir and Osama bin Laden indicate something dangerous. Osama bin Laden had made a big statement about Kashmir in September 1999 before carrying out the terrorist attack in US. Threatening India, Laden had called India and America the biggest enemies. Laden had called upon all the Mujahideen (terrorist) organizations present in Pakistan to unite. Also, the most notorious terrorist till date had said that he is always ready to help the Mujahideen active in Kashmir. Earlier, Indian intelligence agencies had received information about the nexus buildup between Osama bin Laden and ISI. It is also said that the terrorists of Osama bin Laden’s organization had also supported the Pakistani army in the Kargil war. Laden was killed in Pakistan in 2011.
What Munir said?
In his statement, Munir had given a venomous statement that created a rift between Hindus and Muslims. This statement of Munir came before the brutal attack in Baisaran Valley. Actually, Pakistan had organized a conference of overseas Pakistanis in Islamabad between April 13-16. General Munir had spoken about the two state theory while addressing this conference. In this program, he had called Kashmir the jugular vein of Pakistan. Munir had said, “Make sure to tell the story of Pakistan to your children, so that they do not forget it. Our ancestors believed that we are different from Hindus in every way. Our religion, customs, tradition, thinking and purpose are all different. This is the basis of the two state theory. We are not one, but two nations.” It was only after this poisonous and communal statement of Munir that motivated terrorists in Pahalgam to massacre the tourists after asking their religion.
Osama supporter’s son in Pakistani army
It is said that in 1999 Kargil war, terrorists nurtured by Osama bin Laden also fired bullets on the Indian army. In Tololing and Batalik, the terrorists of Al Qaeda had joined hands with the Pakistan Army and taken on India. After the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, another reality has come to light. The son of a UN designated wanted terrorist who had shared information about nuclear weapons with Osama bin Laden is holding an important position in Asim Munir’s army. Pakistan Army spokesperson (DG-ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary is the son of nuclear scientist Mahmud Sultan Bashiruddin. Bashiruddin was included in the list of terrorists by the UN Security Council in December 2001.
