Hyundai Motor India To Launch 26 New Cars By 2030 Including EV And Hybrid
Hyundai has announced a robust new product launch strategy for the next five years till 2030. The carmaker has announced its quarterly results, and the SUV sales have increased, where two out of three cars sold by Hyundai are SUVs. MR. Unsoo Kim, MD and CEO, has said that the carmaker will launch 26 cars by 2030, including a mix of EVs and hybrids.
Out of the 26 new launches, there would be 20 new ICE or internal combustion-engined cars and 6 EVs, while crucially, the 20 launches would also include a hybrid for the first time.

In terms of hybrid, the carmaker will bring in a strong hybrid for the first time in India, and that is a big step where the carmaker will bring in ev as well as hybrid in response to market demands. Amongst the launches we expect the new generation Venue due this year and well as the new generation Creta, which is its best-selling car in India, along with a new hybrid SUV.

Regarding EVs, we also expect a localised electric platform for India and many more launches. Currently, Hyundai holds the second position and has been concentrating on SUVs, while competition has increased over the years, particularly from Mahindra and Tata, while Maruti Suzuki is also revving its product plans. Hyundai clearly has one of the largest product launch plans, with 26 cars, and it would span multiple segments.
