Red lines in snow: Manali says no to Turkish tracks

Manali residents and hoteliers are demanding the removal of Turkish firm Yüksel Proje from the Bilaspur-Manali-Leh railway survey. Citing national security concerns due to Turkiye's ties with Pakistan and anti-India stance, they also fear ecological damage from deforestation and disruption to agriculture.
