New Delhi: Rohit Sharma and his family experienced a moving tribute on Friday, May 16, as the Wankhede Stadium dedicated a stand in his honor, marking a significant moment in his career.

The official unveiling of the Rohit Sharma Stand elicited strong emotional responses from the Sharma family.

Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, was clearly overcome with emotion, crying tears of joy as a grandstand named after her husband was unveiled.

Rohit Sharma’s parents, Purnima and Gurunath Sharma, were clearly moved and emotional as they watched their son’s achievement being honoured at an elite cricket venue.

Rohit expressed his gratitude to his family for their unwavering support, ‘It’s going to be even more special with my family here — my parents, my brother, my wife. I’m truly grateful and thankful for all the sacrifices they’ve made for me.’
