Both were wanted in the 2023 Pune IED explosives case and carried a bounty of ₹3 lakh each. They had been on the run for two years and were reportedly hiding in Jakarta.The duo, believed to be part of a sleeper module, was apprehended upon their arrival in India. Their sudden return raised suspicion of a possible terror plot, prompting alert immigration officials to inform the NIA. The National Investigation Agency immediately took them into custody.Interrogation is underway to determine their motive for returning and whether they were planning a major attack.
