Teen beaten to death for 'picking mangoes'; mob torches orchard, house in Bengal

Sheikh Farhad Mondal, an orchard owner, was arrested for allegedly killing Sudipto Pandit. Pandit was suspected of stealing mangoes. The incident occurred in Naihati. Mondal reportedly assaulted Pandit, leading to his death. Following the incident, a mob set fire to Mondal's property in Shibdaspur. Authorities deployed RAF and police to manage the unrest. The situation is now under control.
