Cannes 2025: Nancy Tyagi stuns the red carpet once again

Nancy Tyagi turned heads last year during her debut at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, and she has done it yet again. The 24-year-old has returned for the second time on the star-studded red carpet, this time in a head-to-toe light aqua green ensemble.

She had hinted at her return the previous evening through an Instagram story that read, “Ready for round 2?” Many were eagerly awaiting to see what she would create this year, and it is safe to say that Tyagi did not disappoint. Her handcrafted dress featured a corset-style bodice with a plunging sweetheart neckline, transitioning into sheer fabric from the thighs down that cumulated in a mermaid-style tulle skirt adorned with handmade roses, along with an over-the-top shoulder piece resembling open rose petals. She completed the look with the sleek back bun, statement earrings with an emerald in the middle and silver nail rings to complete the dramatic look.

Tyagi shared a series of photos on her Instagram in the enthralling dress, with the caption: “Cannes again… Red carpet again… I never thought that this journey would be so beautiful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who is with me in this journey.”

Last year, Tyagi, an influencer from Uttar Pradesh known for transforming humble materials into couture-level outfits, stunned the Cannes red carpet and Indian audiences alike in a handmade 20kg ruffled pink gown. The look was followed by a second, a lavender saree with intricate hand embroidery.

Within the year, Tyagi has amassed quite an internet following—3 million on Instagram and 2.5 million on YouTube.
