Security guard, maimed for life with leg amputated, awarded Rs 32.66 lakh compensation by Thane MACT

Dinesh Rajmani Chaurasiya, a security guard who lost his leg in a 2013 road accident, has been awarded Rs 32.66 lakh by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) in Thane. The tribunal found the motorcyclist solely responsible for the accident due to rash driving. Despite the insurance company's denial, the court ordered compensation for Chaurasiya's permanent disability and suffering.
