Dream homes turn to rubble in Chikhali as PCMC demolishes structures in blue flood line

Residents of the 'River Villa' project in Chikhali, Pimpri Chinchwad, were left devastated as PCMC demolished 36 illegal bungalows in a blue flood line area. Homeowners claim they were deceived by the developer and allege PCMC staff took bribes to ignore the illegal construction. The Municipal Commissioner has promised an investigation into the bribery allegations following the court order.
