With Virat Kohli set to be in action for the first time since announcing his Test retirement, his white jersey seems to be in massive demand ahead of the IPL 2025 clash between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders. A video of the same surfaced on social media, as a vendor was seen selling the replica Test jersey of Kohli and a few fans posed with the same.

Chinnaswamy Stadium is set to be packed on Saturday as IPL 2025 gears for his resumption. Given Kohli's Test legacy, fans and former cricketers have been left shocked at his sudden retirement announcement. A handful of fans have also expressed their desire to see the 36-year-old reverse his retirement decision, especially ahead of a tough England tour.

The Delhi-born cricketer is also the most successful Indian Test captain, ushering the country to 40 Test wins in 68 games, including a series win in Australia. With 9230 runs in 123 Tests, he is the fourth-highest run-getter for India in the format.

Rain could play spoilsport at the Chinnaswamy Stadium:

With the match set to begin at 7:30 pm, the toss at 7:00 pm could also be delayed due to overcast conditions along with heavy thunderstorms at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. According to Accuweather, the chances of precipitation is 80% in the evening, with a cloud cover of 100%. However, the rain could allow a shortened contest between the two sides due to the good drainage system that the Chinnaswamy Stadium possesses.

The Royal Challengers, captained by Rajat Patidar, had convincingly beaten the defending champions earlier in the season at the Eden Gardens. RCB had also breached the fortress of the Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians and have been outstanding in the season across facets.
