After Bihar and Gujarat, now the governments of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana have restored the holidays. Now employees can apply for leave. Department orders have also been issued in this regard.

The leaves of the employees and officers of the Health Department of Haryana have been restored again. In the order issued by the Health Department, it has been said that now there is no restriction on taking leave. The Director of the Health Department has sent a letter to the Medical Officer (CMO) and Principal Medical Officer (PMO) of all the districts, in which it is written that now there is no restriction on taking leave (EL, CCL, EOL & etc).

These leaves were cancelled

Earned Leave (EL): Earned leave is that which is given to the employee in lieu of working during his service. This leave is for thirty days in a year.

Child Care Leave (CCL): This leave is for child care. This leave is given to a female employee for taking care of a child below 18 years of age. It is available for 730 days in the service period.

Extraordinary Leave (EOL): This leave is given without salary. It is taken when there is no other leave. When the employee demands additional leave under special circumstances.

Relief to employees of Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh government has also lifted the ban on leaves of officers and employees of 14 departments. The General Administration Department has issued a new order, cancelling its old order. The employees whose leaves are already approved will now be able to use them. On the instructions of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, the General Administration Department had on May 9 banned the leave of officers and employees of Home, Energy, General Administration, Health, Public Health Engineering, Food Civil Supplies, Water Resources, Narmada Valley Development, Urban Development, Panchayat and Rural Development, Public Works, Revenue and Transport departments.

Leave of Rajasthan employees also restored

The ban on leaves of Rajasthan employees has been withdrawn by Bhajan Lal government. An order issued in this regard states that the officers and employees whose leaves are approved will be able to avail the leave only in urgent or emergency circumstances. It may be noted that in view of the emergency situation in view of Indo-Pak tension, an order was issued on 8 May banning the leave of government employees.

Jhunjhunu District Collector Ramavtar Meena has issued an order saying that the district and block level officers will approve the leaves of their subordinate officers and employees at their own level. Employees posted at the block level will be able to get their leaves approved from their block level officers, while district level officers will have to take permission from the District Magistrate (Collector) to leave the headquarters.
