Route Change: Important news for railway passengers! Route of Dhanbad-Lokmanya Tilak Special may change, DRM gave indication

There are plans to change the route of Dhanbad-Lokmanya Tilak Special train to reduce its delay. DRM Kamal Kishore Sinha has indicated to run this train passing through CIC section through an alternative route. The train is popular among passengers and the railways has got good revenue from it. Efforts are on to run the train on a rational route which will improve punctuality.

Preparations have started to change the route to prevent the delay of Dhanbad-Lokmanya Tilak Mumbai Special train which runs late in every round. The train passing through the CIC section of Dhanbad Railway Division can be run through an alternate route. DRM Kamal Kishore Sinha has indicated this.

The passengers requested to provide additional racks to prevent the delay of the train. In response to this, the DRM said that Dhanbad-Lokmanya Tilak Special has become very popular among the passengers. So far four thousand passengers have traveled. Due to this, the railway has earned a revenue of 60 lakhs.

Efforts are on to take this train out of the CIC section and run it through a rational route. This will have a positive impact on its punctuality.

Dhanbad-Lokmanya Tilak Special can run on the route of Howrah-Mumbai Mail

Dhanbad-Lokmanya Tilak Special is running from Dhanbad via Katras, Chandrapura, Ranchi Road, Patratu, Latehar, Daltonganj, Gajhwa Road, Renukut, Obra Dam, Singrauli. This train can be run via the route of Howrah-Mumbai Mail.

The change in route will deprive the passengers of CIC section of the train to Mumbai, but they will be able to get a new train to Mumbai on Dhanbad Gomo, Koderma and Gaya route. However, no official announcement has been made regarding the changed route.

Lokmanya Tilak-Dhanbad Special arrived a day later, left in the afternoon instead of at night

Lokmanya Tilak-Dhanbad Special arrived in Dhanbad more than 20 hours late on Wednesday. It arrived at 4:42 am on Wednesday instead of 8:30 am on Tuesday. Due to this, Dhanbad-Lokmanya Special which was to leave at 10:30 pm on Tuesday, left at 2:02 pm on Wednesday with a delay of 15 hours 32 minutes.
