Spying for ISI: YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra was close to Pakistani agents, passed info on key locations

Jyoti Malhotra, who runs the YouTube channel Travelling with Jo, was among six arrested for espionage and passing information to Pakistan spy agency ISI, according to officials.
Police said all six arrested people communicated with the ISI regularly. Some of them acted as agents and informants while others transported funds.
Who is Jyoti Malhotra?
Jyoti Malhotra who was nabbed from Haryana's Hisar visited Pakistan in 2023. She used her social media to portray a positive image of Pakistan and spread Pakistani propaganda.
Jyoti became close to Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, an employee at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi. He introduced her to several ISI operatives including Shakir alias Rana Shahbaz. His number was saved as Jatt Randhawa on her phone. She also became intimate with one Pakistani Intelligence Operative, with whom she travelled to Bali.
She also informed ISI about sensitive locations in India. The woman who was sent to five-day police custody has been charged under BNS Section 152, Official Secrets Act, 1923 Sections 3, 4 and 5.
Devendra Singh Dhillon, 25, was another spy arrested from Kaithal. The Khalsa College student from Patiala went to Pakistan via the Kartarpur Corridor in November 2024. He shared images of the Patiala military cantonment with ISI.
Another woman arrested for spying was Guzala, 32, from Punjab's Malerkotla. She visited the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi to apply for a visa on February 27, 2025. She met Danish, the employee who was in touch with Jyoti. He asked her to use Telegram instead of WhatsApp. Later, he used her as financial conduit to transfer money to specific recipients.
